Geese in Your Bike
If this doesn't belong in the random section of the website, I don't know what does.
You might find that when your bike is stationary, and you move it just a little bit, you get a honking noise that sounds a little like geese. Well, to put you out of your misery it's the disk brakes.
My experience is that AVID brakes are the worst for this, but most disk brakes can do this to one degree or another. It seems to be when there's just enough contact to cause the disk brake to reverbirate and is amplified up through the frame. It's generally not any cause for concern, but it's a strange sound.
It's either that or there's a flock of Canadian Geese hiding in your frame somewhere...
